On April 25, 2026, Sampoerna Academy hosted the Qualifier Round of the Asia International Mathematical Olympiad (AIMO) 2026. The face-to-face competition took place across three campuses, Jakarta, BSD, and Sentul, welcoming students from Grade 2 to Grade 12 from the Jabodetabek area. Originating in Hong Kong and organized by the AIMO Union since 2012, this international tournament evaluates critical thinking skills across 26 participating countries. During the examination, students tackled a format consisting of 20 non-MCQ questions worth a total of 100 marks.

With the competition concluded, participants are now awaiting the official results announcement scheduled for May 25, 2026. Student achievements will be recognized through a strict tiered award system based on final scores. The top 10% of participants will receive the Gold Award, the next 20% will earn the Silver Award, and the subsequent 30% will be awarded the Bronze Award. All other competitors will receive a Certificate of Participation to recognize their effort. Furthermore, students who secure a Gold Award in this qualifier round will win the opportunity to advance to the AIMO Final Round, which will take place from August 1 to 5, 2026, in Hanoi, Vietnam.
