Semester 1: Reflections from the Principal

As we come to the end of the first semester, I would like to thank all our parents and families for their ongoing trust and support. Your presence at school events, your communication with teachers, and your encouragement at home make a real difference to your children and to our school community.

This has been a busy and very successful semester. We celebrated Independence Day with pride, brought our community together during Wellness Week and Sports Day, and marked UN Day in a different format this year while still honoring our shared values of diversity and global citizenship. This is just some of the events that are standing out. These events do not happen by accident; they result from careful planning and strong collaboration among staff, students, and parents.

Our student body has continued to grow, and we are proud to end the semester with 845 students. This growth reflects the confidence you place in our school. It challenges us to continue improving our systems, communication, and learning environment so that every child is known, supported, and stretched.

I also want to express my sincere appreciation to our teachers and staff. They give their energy, time, and heart every day, preparing lessons, guiding behaviour, coaching teams, running events, and caring for students’ well-being. Their commitment is the backbone of our school.

From next term, we will introduce a strengthened disciplinary system to support a safer, more respectful, and more consistent learning environment. This will include a clearer structure for consequences and recognition, supported by our school admin system, and a stronger focus on positive behaviour. More detailed information will be shared with parents before the new term begins, so that we can all work together with the same expectations.

I wish all our students, parents, and staff a restful and meaningful break. Please take time to recharge, spend time as a family, and step away from the daily rush. For those who will be travelling, may your journeys be safe and your return smooth.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back next term and to another strong semester of learning and growth.
