Small Joys, Bright Minds: A Chat With Haris and Qianzy of K2B

The bright-eyed share a world coloured by tiny joys - cupcakes, fairytales, and Lego dreams. In our chat with K2’s Haris and Qianzy, their personality-filled yet straightforward answers remind us how much magic lives in everyday childhood moments.

Hobbies That Shape Them
Haris exclaims, “I like Legos and sometimes cars,” hinting at a young creator in the making. For Qianzy, passion comes in the form of creativity. “I like ELAR… writing.” And when she is not in school, she brings her stories to life at the playground.

Dream Superpowers
Haris does not hesitate - he would be Spiderman. “I want to shoot webs and hang on walls!” It is the thrill and confidence of a hero that excites him. Qianzy chooses Elsa, fascinated by the idea that ice can “make castles and snowmen.” Conversely, the grace and power of creation are what pique her interests.

School Through Their Eyes
Both cherish their CCAs - Haris enjoys STEAM and learning about technology, while Qianzy beams as she talks about painting and her ability to “paint a house.”

Everyday Heroes
When asked about their heroes, both looked close to home. “My daddy,” Haris said, admiring that he is an engineer. “My mommy,” Qianzy shared, because “she bakes for me - cupcakes!”

Playtime and Memories
For Haris, joy looks like gathering his “daddy, mommy, brother, and sister” to play with cars. Qianzy’s happiest games are hide and seek with her “mommy and sister, proudly naming “the closet!” as the best hiding spot, while Haris adds his own twist: “Up in the trees.”

Their favourite memories are just as heartfelt. Haris remembers a trip to Malaysia filled with food and candies. Qianzy treasures the bedtime moments when her sister reads fairy tales to her. Together, their stories remind us that the smallest joys often leave the most significant marks on our hearts.
