Bahasa Indonesia Day Celebration at Sampoerna Academy

Bahasa Indonesia Day was a day when students and teachers celebrated their language through fun activities. Every level of ELC and Primary participated in various activities that related to what they had learned in the classroom and in Bahasa Indonesia. In ELC, students decorated pictures of traditional Indonesian clothing and matched pictures with words. Primary students created posters about healthy lifestyles, wrote resumes, completed stories, wrote their own stories based on a given picture, and made infographics about their hobbies.

During Bahasa Indonesia Day, Gramedia and Balai Pustaka held a book bazaar, bringing primary students together to buy their favourite books and toys. Not only that, but students also wrote books and took part in a workshop for writing stories.

Bahasa Indonesia Day is not just about having fun; it is also about celebrating the official declaration that united all Indonesian people with one language, Bahasa Indonesia.
